ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester City Council plans to take legal action aimed at restoring the investigatory powers of the city’s Police Accountability Board following a recent court ruling.
Council said it will pursue a motion for leave to appeal the decision issued by the Appellate Division, which removed the board’s authority to independently investigate alleged misconduct within the Rochester Police Department.
