20-year-old man sentenced to combined 90 years in prison for pair of murder convictions

Rochester, N.Y. — A man convicted of a pair of murders is heading to prison.

Authorities said Kyelon Marbury, then 17, and at least one other person opened fire on James Huff, 31, in a drive-by shooting April 23, 2023 on Webster Avenue. Huff was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and died from his injuries. Investigators determined Marbury had also opened fire on a driver at random in the same area two days prior, though the driver was not struck.
