Groups work to recognize issues formerly incarcerated people face

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — This week, organizations are working together in part as a national effort to raise awareness about the challenges individuals formerly incarcerated face and the importance of supporting services who provide successful reentry into communities.

“I did a lot of things in prison, like, I’m not proud of it,” guest speaker Jermaine Jennings said. “And I say, you know what? Let’s change this thing.”
