Seneca Avenue to become one-way street through December due to reconstruction project

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Seneca Avenue is scheduled to become a temporary one-way street starting Monday.

According to the City of Rochester, Seneca Avenue will be a one-way southbound street from May 18 through December due to reconstruction efforts in the area. The affected area includes Seneca Avenue from Route 104 to Norton Street.

The reconstruction project is said to include curb and sidewalk replacements, curb ramp upgrades, street light improvements, updated signage, and pavement reconstruction, in addition to utility work such as manhole repairs and hydrant replacements…
