ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Workers describe this week’s Adopt 815 pup as a big, goofy and lovable land seal.
The 5-year-old terrier, pit bull mix “Topher” is up for adoption at Winnebago County Animal Services.
Topher originally arrived at the shelter as a stray. He was adopted, but sadly he was returned because of the families housing situation.
On a positive note, the family was able to share some updates after getting to know Topher a bit more. He is the definition of an easygoing houseguest—quiet in the home, happiest as a couch potato, but always up for an occasional walk.
He’s also a bit cheeky, flashing his signature smile to everyone he meets. Kristen Gburek, the kennel manager at Winnebago County Animal Services, says Topher gets along well with everyone —people and other animals…
