Music on Chicago, a summer concert series in downtown Freeport, is returning to the new Art Plaza at the corner of Chicago Avenue and Douglas Street, according to a community announcement.
The event has been a tradition for more than 20 years, bringing live music, food, and a festive atmosphere to the community.

This year’s lineup includes Lobbin Robbins on June 5 and Pork Tornadoes on Aug. 7. The July 3 performer has not been announced.
Admission is $5 and includes access to the entertainment. Local food vendors will be available for dinner options, and volunteers will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during the events…
