BYRON, Ill. (WIFR) – The smell of popcorn and the roar of carnival rides will soon fill the air downtown Byron as its annual summer festival returns.
Festival Hours:

- Saturday Noon-Midnight
- Sunday Noon-5pm

The annual parade will take place at 3p.m., Saturday, July 11th at 2nd Street to Colfax to 3rd street.
ByronFest will take place July 10, 11 and 12, and includes all kinds of events all throughout the city.
In the past 39 years, ByronFest has collected more than $850,000 to give to local charitable groups, who use the money to improve the community and fund local programs…
