MACHESNEY PARK — The Illinois Housing Development Authority has awarded tax credits to support the development of a new senior living apartment complex at the corner of Perryville Road and Vaughndale Drive, which is roughly a block north of AMC Showplace 14.
The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit is key to funding the development of Machesney Park Senior Commons. It will be a three-story, 40-unit apartment complex at 7633 Perryville Road for people ages 62 and older.
