ROCKFORD, Ill (WTVO) — Clarence Jones, 21, was found guilty Thursday of a weapons charge and sentenced to four years in prison following an investigation earlier this year that resulted in the seizure of a handgun and a rifle, each with defaced serial numbers.
According to Rockford Police, detectives initially arrested Jones in the 600 block of West State Street. Jones was wanted on outstanding warrants, police said.
