ROCKFORD — A Rockford-based production company cut the ribbon on Friday on its new studios designed to serve as a hub for artists, musicians and other creators.
Icon Studios has moved into a new home at 728 N. Prospect St. The facility was renovated over the course of about two months to create space for music recording, podcasting, photography, video projects and other creative endeavors. It will be home to the company’s creative and commercial work while also providing studio space available to rent.
“This building represents more than the growth of Icon Studios,” said Yash Musabji, who owns Icon with Chad Bettis. “It represents our investment in Rockford and our belief that local creators, artists, businesses, and young people deserve access to professional spaces at an affordable price and without having to leave the community.”…
