ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A man finds out his sentence for a 2024 shooting that put someone in the hospital.
Augustus Young, 23, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, to be served at 50 percent, in a negotiated plea deal for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
He also admitted to aggravated discharge of a firearm and was sentenced to 48 months of certain restrictions after his release from prison.
