Court sentences 20-year-old Rockford man to 6 months in jail following May shooting

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — 20-year-old Konnor Christmas has been sentenced to 6 months in jail for his part in a May shooting.

Rockford Police were called to the 600 block of Score Street on May 1 and determined that someone had opened fire on a home there while the residents were home.

While police were on the scene, Christmas and Jaquavion Walker, 21, brought a gunshot victim to a local hospital. Police said the rear and rear passenger windows of the car were shattered, and there was evidence of bullet damage both inside and outside of the car…
