ROCKFORD, Ill (WTVO) — Midway Village Museum is seeking volunteers to help with a popular event.
Volunteers are needed for the museum’s annual “World War II Days” event, the second-largest WWII reenactment event in the Midwest. The event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and features nearly 600 uniformed reenactors from Allied and Axis powers.
Event volunteers help guests explore the event for part of the day and can attend the rest of the day’s events for free. Students who volunteer are also eligible for volunteer credit…
