Talk about a lucky stretch: Illinois Lottery players hit five Lucky Day Lotto jackpots across the state in just over a week, winning a combined $1.25 million.
The winning tickets were sold or played online between Labor Day weekend and Sept. 12 in St. Charles, Chicago, Crete and Rochelle. The run included a $550,000 jackpot in St. Charles, a $100,000 online win, a $200,000 ticket sold in Chicago and two more $200,000 tickets purchased in Crete and Rochelle that matched the same five numbers in the Sept. 12 midday drawing.
