Worker Seriously Injured at Commercial New Build
On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 1:10 p.m., the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District responded to 2020 N. Seminary Avenue, the site of a new Dollar General currently under construction, for a report of a person who had sustained a significant electrical injury.
Paramedics arrived and located an adult male in his 40s who was semi-conscious inside the store.
Initial reports indicated the man had been working from a tall ladder when he sustained the electrical injury and subsequently fell from the ladder.
Due to the severity of his injuries, a medical helicopter was requested and landed at the scene…
