ROCKFORD — The Forest Preserves of Winnebago County has accepted a 4.6-acre donation of land that will be incorporated into the adjacent Kilbuck Bluffs Forest Preserve near the south end of Winnebago County.
The nonprofit Natural Land Institute donated the land, which will remain dedicated to conservation. The property was originally gifted to NLI by Shirley and James Waddell on Dec. 31, 2008.
