ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Former 97ZOK radio personality Steve Shannon has landed a new job after leaving broadcasting in Rockford earlier this year.
In March, Shannon announced he would be leaving the airwaves after 31 years as the morning host for 97.5 WZOK.
On Wednesday, Shannon posted to Facebook, saying, “When I walked out of the 97ZOK studios in March after 31 years, I knew I wasn’t retiring. What I didn’t know was exactly what the next chapter was supposed to look like.”…
