MONROE CENTER, Ill. (WTVO) — A person was taken to the hospital following a crash involving a Semi truck Thursday afternoon.
The Illinois State Police (ISP) said in a statement that troopers responded to a crash in which a pickup truck rear-ended a semi-truck. The accident occurred on the southbound side of I-39 near Crill Rd. in Monroe Center.
The ISP says one person was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Photos from the scene showed multiple units from nearby agencies, including the New Milford, Lynn-Scott-Rock and Cherry Valley Fire districts responded to the scene.
