LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — A cafe run by Rockford’s Sugarjones Bakery is shutting down, the owners announced on Monday.
Sugarjones owners Danna and John Krischke said SJ Cafe, which opened last year at 6731 Broadcast Pkwy, has officially closed its doors.
“When we created SJ Cafe, we had so many ideas and plans for what we wanted it to become,” the owners wrote on Facebook. “Unfortunately, between the demands of our other businesses and careers and the ongoing challenge of having enough staffing to properly operate the cafe, we simply haven’t been able to give SJ Cafe the time and attention it deserves.”…
