ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford will host the NAACP Illinois State Conference Convention in 2027, bringing the statewide gathering back to the city for the first time in 15 years.
The NAACP Rockford Branch and GoRockford announced Wednesday that the 90th Annual NAACP Illinois State Conference Convention will take place Sept. 24-26, 2027, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront.
