Woman arrested after meth-fueled airborne car crash in Ogle County: Police

MONROE CENTER, Ill. (WTVO) — A Minnesota woman is facing multiple drug-related charges after deputies say she lost control of her vehicle while attempting to avoid a turning semi-truck in Ogle County on Thursday afternoon.

According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 12:23 p.m. Oct. 1 to the intersection of Illinois Route 72 and Limestone Road in Monroe Center for a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck.

Investigators said a 2025 Nissan Sentra, driven by 34-year-old Taunni A. Jackson of Frazee, Minnesota, was traveling westbound on Route 72 behind a white semi-truck tractor-trailer.
