ROCKFORD, Ill (WTVO) — Rockford Police are investigating after a 19-year-old was shot in Rockford early Friday evening.
In a post on X, Rockford Police said that the 19-year-old was shot near Andrews and Miriam. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Eyewitness News has a crew on scene gathering more information. Police ask residents to avoid the area while they investigate.
