ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Local families gathered at Lockwood Park on Sunday for the annual Screw City Jeeps 815 Trunk or Treat, kicking off early Halloween festivities across the Stateline area. The free community event ran from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Organized by Screw City Jeeps 815, the gathering offered children an afternoon of trick-or-treating alongside parked Jeeps and seasonal park activities. Costumes were encouraged for participants celebrating the fall afternoon.
