ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — For every murder that ends with an arrest and conviction, there are others that remain unanswered for years, decades or even generations.
According to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, more than 150 homicide investigations have been conducted by the agency over the past half-century.
