Rockford Man Cited Over Halloween Crash Scene on Guilford Road

A Rockford resident is drawing attention after he was issued a citation by Rockford police over Halloween decorations along Guilford Road.

Halloween Display Looks Like a Real Accident

If you drive west of N. Alpine Road down Guilford, you’ll do a double take when you notice what appears to be a disturbing car crash positioned just off the roadway.

When it was completely set up, the staged scene made it appear as though an SUV had a wreck and struck someone riding a bicycle.

The Halloween display caught the attention of passing motorists and sparked a lot of social media reaction, with one comment on TikTok saying they initially believed the scene was real and thought “someone actually wrecked out.”
