WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill (WTVO) — A man was arrested Sunday after allegedly fleeing from Beloit Police into Illinois after reportedly swinging an axe inside a Beloit bar Sunday night, according to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials identified the suspect as 38-year-old Andrew Banks. According to court records, Beloit police sought charges of assault and felony fleeing against Banks. Deputies located Banks parked in the lot of Whiskey Roadhouse, 3207 North Main Street, in Rockford around 8:51 p.m…
