Staten Island UPS driver, a father of 2, killed in truck crash in Illinois

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – A Staten Island man was killed in a trucking crash on Friday, Jan. 19 while traveling through Cherry Valley, Illinois. Robert D. Peterson, a 47-year-old Prince’s Bay resident, was in a UPS semi-truck headed east on I-90 when it hit a concrete barrier, tipped over and caught fire, Mystateline.com is reporting.
