ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A Rockford man faces several charges Thursday after police say he ran from officers and hid in a garage. Xavier Escobar, 34, is charged with unlawful use of weapons by a felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest, aggravated fleeing to elude and driving on a revoked license.
