Police: Man killed in hit-and-run Janesville crash

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — A 34-year-old man is dead after police say he ran into the road and was hit by a car. The driver has been charged with hit-and-run.

According to Janesville Police, the crash occurred around 6:45 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of W. Milwaukee Street.

Authorities said Noe Perez Reyes, 23, was driving west toward Five Points when the victim ran out into the roadway and was later pronounced dead.

Reyes left the scene but was later found by police and arrested.

He has been charged with Operating without a Valid Driver’s License Causing Death, and Hit and Run Causing Death.

Reyes was booked into the Rock County Jail.
