ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The loved ones of hit-and-run victim Malissa Bond gather to remember a life well-spent on the street where she was killed. The incident occurred on February 5 when the 53-year-old was walking through the intersection of Auburn St. and Irving Ave. The unidentified driver fled the scene, leaving Bond unresponsive in the road. She passed away from her injuries early February 6th.
