ROCKFORD – Allegiant will start flying from the Rockford airport to Los Angeles this summer. The airline’s new route from the Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) begins June 12. It’s the second new route the company is adding this year. Flights to Nashville start May 16.
