Two Beloit elementary school employees charged with disorderly conduct toward a student

BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Beloit Police have arrested a man and woman, employees of a Beloit elementary school, charged with disorderly conduct toward a child.

According to the Beloit Police Department, the incident occurred on Monday, February 5th, involving what police described as “disorderly behavior toward a young student” of Merrill Elementary School.

After an investigation, charges of Disorderly Conduct were brought against Steven Jordan, 53, of Rockford, and Vida Bevineau, 61, of Janesville.

Police said they turned themselves in and have been released with a future court appearance date.

The Beloit School District has also launched an investigation into the incident, police said.
