Police: Rockford man beat, bit wife in domestic violence assault

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police have arrested Stuart Teso-Warner, 43, for a domestic battery incident late Wednesday night in the 2000 block of Harvard Avenue.

The victim told police that Teso-Warner had been drinking since 4:30 p.m. He started to yell that he was going to kill her and hit her over a dozen times in the head.

The suspect also bit her in the face, threw a lamp at her, and broke a TV during the incident, according to the criminal complaint.

Teso-Warner threw her to the ground multiple times before she got up and called 911 around 10:41 p.m., police said.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

Teso-Warner admitted to drinking all evening, throwing the lamp, and biting her face, according to authorities.

He has been charged with domestic battery/ bodily harm and aggravated domestic battery.
