Preventing the second leading cause of lung cancer

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Health experts share other things to consider in lung cancer prevention. The leading cause of lung cancer is smoking. Prevention measures are widely known: avoid/quit smoking. According to Dr. Nameer Mardini, an oncologist with UW Health, radon gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer.
