ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Washington Elementary staff and parents cheered on students Friday as they graduate to a higher level of learning. Washington Elementary’s educational strategy, known as P-40 Literacy Power Hour, is designed to guide students to academic success and lifelong learning. Students being promoted took on the P-40 Literacy Power Hour challenge set by staff and learned foundational reading skills.
