Vandalia sophomore Macy Jones finished in 40th at this year’s IHSA Girls Bowling State Tournament held at The Cherry Bowl in Rockford on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, Jones had a first round total of 580 and a second round total of 540 to finish Friday with a two round total of 1,120 and an average of 186.7 as she sat in 64th at the end of the first day. On the second day, Saturday, Jones came out and bowled her best round with a 602 in round 3 and finished her fourth round with a 589 for a two-day total of 2,311 and two-day average of 192.6 to finish in 40th place.
