Walmart announces autoimmune-focused pharmacies at 3 south-central Wisconsin locations

MADISON, Wis. — Walmart is adding autoimmune-focused pharmacies to three of its locations in south-central Wisconsin, the company announced Thursday.

The Specialty Pharmacies of the Community (SPOC) will offer care and resources for people living with autoimmune conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease and plaque psoriasis.

While all Walmart pharmacies can fill prescriptions for autoimmune conditions, these SPOCs will offer focused clinical programs and services administered by pharmacists who are trained in caring for people with autoimmune diseases.

The new locations will be opened at the following Walmart locations:

  • Walmart 1799, 2950 New Pinery Road, Portage, Wis.
  • Walmart 1305, 3800 Deerfield Drive, Janesville, Wis.
  • Walmart 802, 300 6 th Ave. West, Monroe, Wis.
