Police: Rockford felon seen on Snapchat possessing a firearm, violates his parole

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Freemon Hubbard, 23, for allegedly possessing a firearm while being on parole.

Officers went to the 4500 block of Trevor Circle for a parole compliance check on September 11th. Parole agents said the Hubbard was seen on Snapchat in possession of a firearm.

Authorities entered the apartment to find Hubbard and were directed to his bedroom, according to court records.

Police said they found a loaded handgun and more ammunition around the room.

Hubbard is being charged with felon possession of a firearm while on parole and felon possession of a firearm.
