ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A two-vehicle crash temporarily shuts down traffic Tuesday afternoon on Rockford’s south side. Two cars collided at the intersection of S. Springfield Ave. and Cunningham Road causing north and southbound traffic on Springfield to be heavily backed up. Blackhawk, Rockford and West Suburban crews responded to the scene.
