ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police responded to the area of Rockton Avenue between Vernon and Yonge for a shooting victim around 7:38 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police said the area is closed down while they investigate.
The female victim was transported to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries.
