RILEY TOWNSHIP, Ill. (WIFR) – A heavy-duty wrecker service was called in Monday after a semitruck carrying sand overturned near Marengo. Around 6 a.m. Sept. 23, crews were called to the Route 23 and Harmony Rd. roundabout, where they found the truck lying on its side blocking the roundabout. The semitruck was hauling sand, which spilled onto the road.
