Rock County is holding a Beloit man on a $1,000 bond after he allegedly fired shots outside a residence Sunday afternoon. A criminal complaint says the day after his girlfriend broke up with him, Cornell Murray, 35, went to a duplex in the 600 block of Portland Avenue where the two had been living.
