Tour De North End bike festival returns for 13th year in Rockford

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford’s annual Tour De North End bicycle festival and block party is returning for its 13th year this weekend.

The annual event showcases Rockford’s North End Square neighborhood and will take place on Saturday, September 28th, starting at 11 a.m. at the Olympic Tavern, 2327 N Main Street.

Riders can check in at 11 a.m., with the tour beginning at 1 p.m., encompassing 15+ North End locations, such as Mulligan’s Pub & Grill, Whiskey’s Roadhouse, The Norwegian, Pinnon Meats, and more, to collect passport stamps.

Cyclists will then return to Olympic Tavern by 6 p.m. to redeem stamps for tickets to enter to win a Fat Tire cruiser bike and other prizes.

Registration is $12 and can be done online .

A block party will also be held featuring live music, including House Brotherhood DJs, Frank the Tank, Rock and Roll Institute, and The Anys.
