FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) – Three men are taken to area hospitals Wednesday after a shooting on Freeport’s east side. Around 1:30 p.m. Sept. 25, police say they were called to the 900 block of S. Carroll Avenue for a shots fired incident. When officers arrived, they found two victims who’d been shot. A third victim was taken to FHN Hospital by a vehicle.
