Parts of Kishwaukee Street in Rockford closed due to hazardous material spill

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Rockford Fire responds to the scene of a hazardous material spill in the 1900 block of Kishwaukee Street in Rockford. According to Rockford Fire, a call came in around 1:00 a.m. Thursday after muriatic acid spilled inside Azz Galvanizing and sparked a fire. The fire was contained to the building and no one was injured.
