A car crashing into a house near Galena injured the driver and three people inside the dwelling. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff says it happened Thursday evening around 7 o’clock along westbound Highway 20 near Jupiter Drive. Authorities say the vehicle driven by 45-year old Gregory Howes went over centerline, over the curb and crashed into the home with several people inside.
