Rockford opens Disaster Recovery Center for those affected by severe weather

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center opens to help residents impacted by severe storms, tornadoes, winds and flooding in the Rockford area. The center will be open from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays and closed Sundays beginning Oct. 3. It is located at Forest City Church, 1280 S. Alpine Road in Rockford.
