Pumpkins and tractor rides for everyone. Space Autastic, Nature’s Touch Garden team for special needs fall event

JANESVILLE — On a warm and sunny October Sunday, pumpkins and other fall fun was front and center.

So too, were squarely considered the needs of children and adults with autism and other special needs, ensuring that they had fun in ways that worked best for them.

Sunday’s Autumn Fun Fest was a fundraiser for local nonprofit SPACE Autastic, held at Nature’s Touch Garden & Activity Center on Highway 11 in Janesville. The event was a vibrant celebration of fall — for everyone.

Activities included bounce pillows, playgrounds, a toddler area, tractor rides, a ropes course, a corn pit, face painting and food trucks.

Families reveled in a day of activities, while supporting a fundraising cause close to their hearts: promoting inclusivity and understanding for children and adults with autism.
