ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Police responded to Perryville Road near the CherryVale Mall on Monday after reports of occupants of a car shooting from a vehicle.
According to the Cherry Valley Police Department, the shooting happened around 3:36 p.m. in the area of 2100 South Perryville Road.
Authorities said the offending vehicle continued southbound on Perryville after the shooting.
Police did not say if anyone was injured.
