CHANA, Ill. (WTVO) — Two teens were injured in a crash between an ATV and UTV in Chana on Saturday.
According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, the collision happened around 3:26 p.m. at the intersection of School Street and Pine Avenue.
Investigators said the UTV (utility task vehicle) collided with the ATV (all terrain vehicle), causing the UTV to lose control and flip over in the road.
The teen operating the UTV suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Javon Bea Mercyhealth Riverside in Rockford.
The teen operating the ATV was taken to Rochelle Community Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.
